G&A Partners Ranked Among Top 500 Businesses Hispanic Business Magazine
HOUSTON— February 2, 2009—G&A Partners, a Texas-Based outsourced human resource (HR) and administrative service provider, ranks once again among the Top 500 Businesses according to Hispanic Business Magazine.
G&A Partners was consecutively ranked among the top 500 Hispanic-owned businesses in 2007 and 2008. After being ranked 21st in 2008, the firm bounded to the 19th spot in 2009.
“We are pleased to appear on the HB 500 once again,” said Tony Grijalva, chairman and CEO of G&A. “Even in a difficult economy, G&A has managed to maintain strong, triple-digit growth, and is becoming ever more formidable in our industry.”
Grijalva added that the industry of Professional Employer Organizations, or PEOs, as a whole is performing well during this economic downturn because PEOs allow companies to outsource non-core administrative functions so that they may operate more efficiently and owners can focus on revenue-generating opportunities.
To be eligible for the HB500, companies must be at least 51 percent Hispanic-owned. Companies are ranked based on revenue figures researched by Hispanic Business staff. Hispanic Business Magazine began the HB500 in 1983, with only 400 companies listed (then, HB400), in hopes of monitoring the performance and progress of Hispanic-owned businesses. The first HB500 list was presented in 1985. That year only 230 companies reported revenues of $5 million or more. By 1996, companies had to show revenues totaling at least $5 million to be considered for the list.
