G&A Partners Recognized as 2024 Healthiest Employers of Texas Finalist

2024 Healthiest Employers of Texas

G&A Partners is a finalist for the 2024 Texas Healthiest Employers award, which honors people-first organizations that prioritize the well-being of their employee population.

G&A, which is a Texas Healthiest Employers finalist for the third time, offers a wellness program that has grown from a small gym stipend to include monthly and annual health challenges as well as one-on-one coaching, a yearly biometric screening, a health-risk assessment, onsite flu shots, an Employee Assistance Program, and more.

“We take pride in the fact that our wellness program is built by our employees and for our employees,” said Michelle Mikesell, chief people officer for G&A Partners. “We strategically plan each year of the wellness program to incorporate the suggestions that we receive from employees as well as the needs that we find by analyzing data from our health-risk assessments and biometric screening.”

Award applicants are evaluated across six key categories: culture and leadership; foundational components; strategic planning; communication and marketing; programming and interventions; and reporting and analytics. Completed assessments are ranked with the proprietary Healthiest Employers® Index, a 1-100 rubric for wellness programming.

Award winners were recognized because of their commitment to workplace wellness and their exceptional health and benefits offerings. Even with many employers returning to the office or to hybrid schedules, they have had to adapt their workforces to reflect the ever-changing views of the modern American office. Increased flexibility, work-life balance, and mental health resources have proven to be common trends among Healthiest Employers applicants.
