In a recent Pulse 2.0 interview, "John W. Allen: About G&A Partners and the Professional Employer Organization," our CEO reflects on his 30-year journey from a local accounting startup to a national Professional Employer Organization (PEO). Allen shares the unlikely path of turning his vision into a company that now serves thousands of small and medium-sized businesses every day.

“In the early 1990s, my career shifted after a pivotal lunch meeting with my former colleague, Tony Grijalva,” says Allen. “By the end of that meal, we were business partners, forming the Grijalva & Allen behind the name G&A Partners. As an early adopter of the co-employment model, we rapidly expanded our services and geographic reach to meet demand from small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs). Today, I am proud to say that we continue to deliver world-class HR services, serving more than 5,000 clients and 130,000 employees nationwide.”

The interview also explores G&A’s main service offerings and what separates them from competitors, how the client experience is central to everything at G&A, the company’s future vision, and his favorite memories over a career of serving small business owners and entrepreneurs.
