G&A Partners’ Chief Technology Officer Pascal Gibert discusses the opportunities and challenges that artificial intelligence presents to professional employer organizations in the PEO Insider article, “Three Critical Considerations for PEOs Implementing AI.”
The article, which appears in the August issue of the National Association of Professional Employer Organization’s PEO Insider publication, cautions leaders to look beyond the AI hype and evaluate critical ethical considerations. Gibert says doing so will allow PEO leaders to “drive meaningful change with AI’s abilities.”
“As PEO leaders, our role is to navigate the evolving AI landscape with both discernment and vision, ultimately positioning our organizations to unlock meaningful efficiencies and strategic growth,” writes Gibert. “Embracing AI thoughtfully—not blindly—will enable us to deliver enhanced value to our clients, safeguard employee trust, and lead our industry into a smarter, more innovative future.”
Gibert says leaders must carefully examine marketing claims that tout AI-driven software or updates that are, in reality, simple software automation or rules-based algorithms.
“Rules-based automation can improve existing platforms and increase efficiencies where processes are predictable, structured, and repetitive,” writes Gibert. “These features have a place within our platforms. But they are not deserving of the high price tag – or exaggerated marketing claims – that comes with being labeled an AI-driven product.”
