G&A Partners Founders Named EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2018 Award Finalists In The Gulf Coast Area
HOUSTON – May 8, 2018 — G&A Partners, a leading national professional employer organization (PEO), announced today that its co-founders, Tony Grijalva and John Allen, have been named as finalists for the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® award in the Gulf Coast Area.
This prestigious EY honor recognizes entrepreneurs who are excelling in areas such as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Grijalva, G&A Partners’ Chairman and CEO, and Allen, G&A Partners’ President and COO, who were both previously Gulf Coast area finalists in 2012 and 2014, were selected as finalists for this year’s award by a panel of independent judges.
“We are so proud to again be among this select group of local entrepreneurs being recognized with this honor,” said Grijalva.
“G&A Partners reached a number of milestones in 2017, including growing to more than 30,000 worksite employees, completing two acquisitions, expanding into the Denver market, and rolling out our new Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas master health plan. We also experienced record organic growth and client retention rates, trends that are continuing into 2018,” said Allen.

Award winners will be announced at a special gala event on June 14, 2018, at the Marriott Marquis Houston. Regional award winners are eligible for consideration for the Entrepreneur Of The Year National competition. Award winners in several national categories, as well as the Entrepreneur Of The Year National Overall Award winner, will be announced at the Entrepreneur Of The Year National Awards gala in Palm Springs, California, on November 17, 2018.
