G&A Partners Acquires PEO Accounts Of Ascend HR Solutions

SALT LAKE CITY – November 1, 2017 — G&A Partners announced today that it has acquired the professional employer organization (PEO) and administrative service organization (ASO) accounts of Ascend HR Solutions, an affiliate of Intermountain Staffing Resources.

With the addition of Ascend HR’s accounts, G&A Partners now serves over 36,000 worksite employees and over 1,000 clients across the U.S. and Latin America.

The two companies first met when they teamed up to try to buy a company with both PEO and staffing divisions. G&A proposed to buy the entire company and then spin off the staffing company to Intermountain Staffing Resources. G&A was unsuccessful with that proposal, but when Intermountain Staffing decided to focus all its efforts on traditional staffing, they reached out to G&A to sell Ascend HR’s PEO and ASO accounts.

“This transaction further strengthens our presence in the Utah market,” according to John W, Allen, G&A’s president and COO. “It also adds several highly competent people from Ascend HR to our staff.”

“G&A Partners is perfectly positioned to continue providing these clients with the same high-quality HR, benefits and payroll services as they received from Ascend HR,” said Aaron Call, G&A’s executive vice president in Utah. “We are also in a position to provide additional services and technology, as well as access to our United Healthcare master health plan.”

Holland’s staffing business, Intermountain Staffing Resources, is one of the largest staffing companies in the country. “G&A Partners’ commitment to providing its clients with exceptional service and expert solutions mirrors the values we have at Intermountain Staffing, and we are confident that this acquisition will provide our clients with the resources they need to grow their businesses faster and take better care of their employees.”
