Comprehensive HR support helps a county hospital facilitate a transition of ownership
When a county hospital decided to break away from a long-standing partnership with a regional health care system, its leadership team knew it was essentially starting from scratch in terms of HR.
As part of the regional health care system, many of the hospital’s human resources, administrative and legal processes were handled or administered by the system. While becoming an independent hospital would give the hospital more freedom, it also meant that the hospital would have to find a way to efficiently manage these functions on its own.
With just a few months remaining in their partnership, the leadership team decided to look into the possibility of outsourcing its HR and administrative functions to an outside partner. Just days after announcing that the hospital was leaving the health care system, that search led them to G&A Partners.
